Taylor Whitfield is a Project Manager for Ecostrat’s Biomass Advisory Group. He
brings a wealth of international and sustainability experience to the team.
Taylor has worked with governments and non-profit organizations both locally and
internationally, and has a passion for promoting global sustainable development.
During his Master’s degree Taylor worked as a research intern at Mahasarakham
University in Thailand where he developed an analysis of water resource allocation
during drought events. He has also worked on international business development
projects, including in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador where he helped to create and
implement a sustainable tourism management plan for an organic coffee plantation.
Currently, Taylor is part of the research and development process of the Canadian
Biomass Supply Chain Risk Standards with Ecostrat.
Taylor holds an MSc in Sustainability Management from the University of Toronto
where his research focused on low carbon energy development in Southeast Asian
