Jordan Solomon presents to the Technical Committee of The Biomass Research and Development Board about the BSCR Standards and Ratings, and their impact on the bioeconomy. The BR&D Board oversees the Interagency Bioeconomy Initiative, a coordinated federal effort to expand the sustainable use of the nation’s abundant biomass resources for biofuels, bioproducts and biopower.
The BR&D Board is comprised of members from the U.S. Departments of Energy, Agriculture, Interior, Transportation and Defense, as well as the Environmental Protection Agency, the National Science Foundation and the Office of Science and Technology Policy. It is co-chaired by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Department of Energy, and is tasked with coordinating research and development activities concerning biobased fuels, products and power across federal agencies.Go Back
